Craven Community College Teams Up with BibliU to Revolutionize Campus Store and Course Material Access
New Bern, NC – Big changes are coming to the campus store experience at Craven Community College (Craven CC)! Starting Spring 2025, Craven CC is partnering with BibliU, a leader in integrated academic and campus store solutions, to deliver an elevated experience and make course materials more affordable and accessible to students. With BibliU stepping in to manage Craven CC’s campus store, students can look forward to a modernized space that offers everything they need—from course kits and school supplies to Craven CC apparel and branded gear—all available in-store and online for ultimate convenience. Whether on campus or studying remotely, students will have easy access to the essential resources supporting their academic success. With this partnership comes the introduction of BibliU’s Equitable Access (EA) program. This transformative initiative provides all Craven CC students with digital access to every required course material for a single, flat fee each semester. With EA, every student will be fully prepared with the resources they need on day one, ensuring no one falls behind. "We’re thrilled to be partnering with Craven Community College to help drive affordability and enhance student success. It’s an honor to support their mission, and we’re excited to strengthen our presence in North Carolina, a state we love and are proud to work with,” said David Sherwood, founder and CEO of BibliU. “We are committed to enhancing the student experience in every way possible,” said Jim Millard, Craven CC VP for Administration. “Our partnership with BibliU will provide a bookstore that’s more than just a place to purchase textbooks—it's a hub for convenience, connection, and support, designed to meet the evolving needs of our students. We’re excited to offer an improved space that fosters success both in and out of the classroom." Additional details about the new Craven CC bookstore are available at CravenCC.edu/Bookstore. How do I login and access the contents as a Faculty member?
Depending on the model your school uses, there are a few different ways that you will be able to log in to your BibliU account to receive access to your textbooks. See below for more details! Accessing via LMS or VLE If you are accessing the BibliU library through Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, Sakai, LoudCloud or any other LMS, you will gain access to your account by selecting the BibliU link from within your course or library. This could show a variety of different ways depending on how your school has chosen to name the link, but most often we suggest schools use "BibliU Course Materials". From there, you will be brought directly to your library where you will find all of your course materials for any courses that you are currently enrolled in! As a faculty member, you will first need to log in to your BibliU account through each course that you are teaching in order to make your titles appear in your library, and then from there you can also log in through Single Sign On. Accessing BibliU using Moodle Single Sign On Through Your University Faculty members do not need to sign in using SSO but if one of your students wishes to access your BibliU account from their mobile devices, they can download the app and use the Single Sign On to login to their BibliU account. Please refer below to know more how to login through your University's SSO. Select your InstitutionIn order to log in to your BibliU library, firstly, you will need to select your institution from the drop-down menu on the login page by going to BibliU.com and selecting "Login" in the upper right hand corner. From there, click on the down arrow next to "Select your university/institution". Select the name of your institution and then click on the purple arrow. This will direct you to your institution's authentication environment. Enter your personal log in detailsNext, enter your institution's log in details that you would usually use (there's no need to create a username or password). Accessing via QR code An alternative way to access your library is via a QR code. Firstly, download our app to your mobile (check out this link for instructions) then using one of the methods above, log in to your library. If you scroll to the bottom of your library, you will see a QR code. Scan that using your phone and this will automatically open our app and log you in on your phone.
